Millersport Sweet Corn Festival

Enjoy hot dripping ears of sweet corn, a large midway, tractor pulls, square dancing, contests, clogging, our heritage village, and lots of festive foods. Grand Parade on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.; Nashville Country Music Shows on Friday and Saturday at 8:30 p.m.; and 5K Run on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Event Hours: 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. W-TH-F and 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free, fee for Parking. Come see why we are earresistible!

Portsmouth River Days

Every Labor Day weekend Portsmouth River Days provides entertainment, activities and fun for Southern Ohio. Located on the riverfront at the Court Street Landing we feature midway rides, arts & crafts, a parade, Queens' pageant and free musical entertainment nightly including a national act on Thursday at 9:00 p.m. Grand Parade begins 11:00 a.m. Saturday and Queens' Pageant at Shawnee State University 6:00 p.m. The annual Antique and Collector Car Show wraps up things on Monday. See you on the river.

Canal Winchester Labor Day Festival

The Festival began in 1920 as a one day Fall Festival and has since expanded to a three day event with lots of FREE activities and FREE entertainment for everyone. We feature over thirty food vendors with at least as many arts & craft and business vendors. Daily entertainment, kids games & rides, huge Car Cruise-In and the Peggy Wood Scholarship Pageant, all capped by an hour and a half parade on Labor Day at 1:00 p.m.

Milan Melon Festival

Celebrate Labor Day weekend at the 57th Milan Melon Festival with a Grand Parade including OFEA Royalty Sunday at 2:00 p.m., Mondays' 5K run (all ages), plus a children's pedal tractor pull. Three days of Arts & Crafts, rides, free entertainment, and food for all. Come enjoy our Famous Muskmelon Ice Cream and Watermelon Sherbet. THE SWEETEST AND BEST MELONS ARE IN MILAN.

West Jefferson Ox Roast

Join us Labor Day Weekend for fun-filled family oriented entertainment. Food, rides, games, arts & crafts, Grand Parade Saturday at noon, kiddie pedal pull, queens' contests, baby contest; watermelon, ice cream, and hot dog eating contests, and much more. Monday we feature our famous "Ox Roast" sandwiches. We cook 5,500 lbs. of beef underground and last year sold over 5,000 sandwiches in 6 hours. If you like Roast Beef, this is THE place to be.

Wellston Coal Festival

The Wellston Coal Festival is held Tuesday thru Saturday after Labor Day on the downtown streets to celebrate Wellston's rich coal mining heritage. We offer a Karaoke Contest, Coal Miner Olympics, a Wednesday Hometown Parade and a Saturday Grand Parade, Baby and Toddler Contests, Car and Motorcycle Show, Line Dancing, Free entertainment nightly, Rides, Games, Great Food and down home hospitality. Bring your lawn chair, spend the day - or several, enjoy the old fashioned small town hospitality in Historic Downtown Wellston...everyone's Hometown since 1873.
