“Strawberries on the Square” is always the theme of our annual festival. Celebrating our 27th year in 2010, and located on the Courthouse Square in downtown Newark, this event has become the largest event held each year in Licking County. Rides, games, crafts, food, and great entertainment provide the whole family with lots of exciting things to see and do. Be sure to try our “world famous” Strawberry Shortcake served with delicious Velvet ice cream, made right here in Licking County. Hosted by Newark Kiwanis, proceeds help fund Camp O’Bannon, a camp for underprivileged children. Please join us and visit historic and beautiful downtown Newark for this fun-filled event.
