Carey Fest 2010 will be celebrated in downtown Carey on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 6 and 7, featuring national recording artists, local bands, games, rides, food, demonstrations, all sorts of entertainment and a wide array of music, music, music. The annual pre-Fest homecoming celebration will be on Thursday, Aug. 5, at Waterworks Park and includes fireworks at 9:30p.m. Other features on Aug. 6 and 7: garden tractor pull competition, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, the Twilight 5K race, a car, truck and motorcycle show and a Civil War encampment.
