The Ox Roast Festival is held annually over Labor Day weekend. Join us for a fun-filled weekend of family oriented free entertainment on two stages. Our festival offers food, rides, games, arts & crafts, Grand Parade on Saturday, Sept. 5th at Noon, kiddie pedal pull, queens' contests, baby contest, watermelon eating contest, bike tour, car show, Madison Co. Idol contest and much more. On Monday be sure to join us for our famous “Ox Roast” sandwiches. Our festival is the only festival that cooks 5,500 lbs. of beef underground. Last year we sold over 8,200 sandwiches in 5 hours. So if you like roast beef – this is the place to be!
