Portsmouth River Days 2009 opens on Thursday, September 3rd at 5:00p.m. and runs through Sunday, September 6th . River Days is held on the riverfront and in the adjacent historic Boneyfiddle district of Portsmouth, Ohio. There is free nightly entertainment on the riverfront stage, arts and crafts, mid-way rides and more. Grand Parade begins at 11:00a.m., Saturday, Sept. 5th and Queens Pageant is at the Vern Riffe Center at Shawnee State University at 7:00p.m. Saturday night.
